Big Guard Recovery

The client runs a mobile athlete recovery service in the United States, taking a full recovery setup on the road to basketball and football tournaments and working on site with teams. The business had outgrown one website, so it needed a connected group of sites.

The goal was a platform that books recovery slots at live events, sells team programmes and retail products, and gives the office a single place to run all of it between events.

The hard part was that an event is not a shop. Slots are limited, they exist only for the hours the team is physically on site, and they sell out while the event is running. So booking had to be tied to real availability at a real location, not an open calendar.

What I built

• Event booking with limited slots per activation, team scheduling and private booking requests
• Package and therapy management, so staff add new services and pricing without a developer
• Checkout with automated confirmations and follow up messages
• A separate storefront with customer accounts, order history and saved addresses
• A player profile area for the basketball side of the business, with secure sign in
• An interactive map of past activations and event galleries, used as social proof

The platform carries their work from Nike EYBL, Peach Jam and the JVA World Challenge, with 600 plus athletes across 20 plus events.

Built in PHP and MySQL across four connected sites.
