VakantieAnders

VakantieAnders runs retreats, workshops and seasonal gatherings in the Netherlands, and the shape of the business is unusual for a website. The programme is seasonal and repeats each year, independent facilitators lead their own sessions, and a single event can run for days with accommodation attached. That is a calendar with commerce in it, not a product catalogue.

WordPress with WooCommerce, with every event bookable in its own right: its own dates, its own registration and its own accommodation options. The events are grouped by what they are, the summer weeks, the weekends, the massage days and the new year gathering, rather than by date alone, because a visitor is choosing a kind of experience first and a date second. The co creation model is built into the structure, so a facilitator can be given a session without the site being rebuilt around them.

On the site now: After Summer Vibes, Oud en Nieuw Anders, the massage retreats and workshop days, the six summer weeks and Summer Vibes 2027, each with its own sign up; available accommodation listed alongside; reviews, an agenda, a newsletter and a phone number. In Dutch throughout.
