SnowSchool

A custom booking platform built from scratch for a family-run ski and snowboard school operating across six resorts in the Three Valleys, France — Courchevel, Méribel, Mottaret, La Tania, Les Menuires and Saint Martin de Belleville.

The school was turning bookings around by hand: emails, spreadsheets and phone calls for every lesson, every instructor assignment and every payout. The platform replaced all of it with one system that customers, instructors and office staff each log into.

What it does

• Lesson and bundle booking — private lessons, children's groups, adult groups, family sessions and snowboard lessons, plus multi-day bundles. Customers pick a resort and dates and only see lessons that are actually running with places left.
• Instructor portal — instructors see their own schedule, accept assignments, track hours and record lesson outcomes.
• Customer portal — every booking, participant, level and receipt in one account, with changes allowed up to 28 days before the lesson.
• Payroll system — hours flow from completed lessons straight into instructor pay runs, so the office is not rebuilding the numbers by hand each month.
• Refunds and cancellations — cancellation windows and refunds handled in the system rather than through back-and-forth email.
• Secure payment gateway — card payments with instant booking confirmation.
• Automated reminders — booking confirmations and pre-lesson reminders by email and WhatsApp.
• AI chatbot — answers the questions that used to fill the inbox: which level fits, what is included, where to meet.

Build

Built on the MERN stack — MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js — with a React admin CMS for lessons, pricing, resorts and instructors. Integrated with Stripe for payments, WhatsApp Business for messaging, and Google Calendar for instructor schedules.
