Those are different carts, different price expectations and different reasons to come back. A store that serves one of them well usually makes the other feel like an afterthought.

The build keeps both without hiding either. A professional sign up and a professional product range run alongside the retail catalogue rather than behind it, so a stylist has an obvious route in and a home customer never hits a door marked trade only. For the retail side, there is a wishlist for the things people come back for and a side by side comparison for shoppers deciding between formulas, which is the actual moment of hesitation in hair care. Classes are sold through the same store, because teaching is part of how this brand sells.
